In this role, you will required to serve many administrative function for the Chambly facility. Your duties will include clerical and administrative tasks. You will take part in organizing and scheduling events. You will act as an employee transaction proxy ; entering transactions/requests within our HR portal, on behalf of supervisors, responsible for basic transactional tasks to help supervisor production supervisors concerning workforce planning. You may be asked to enter retros and premiums in Kronos on behalf of supervisors, administrate the paperwork related to union duties time requests. You will be following up and balancing month end reports for pension and dental deductions pour union employees.
40% - Act as employee transaction proxy; entering transactions into MyHR on behalf of supervisors and responsible for basic transactional tasks to help supervisor production supervisors concerning workforce planning.
20% - Administrative tasks and clerical responsibilities, such as writing memos, communications on TV boards, filing, entering information and dates in various systems such as SAP and data bases (Access), as well as administering overtime.
20% - Putting together Powerpoint presentations for the local leadership teams, data entry in Excel spreadsheets and other databases. Expense reporting on behalf of management employees.
10% - Being in charge/ordering employee equipment and completing inventory follow-ups.
10% - Helping to organize employee events such as holiday events, barbecues, plant visits for corporate employees and/or customers.
DEP or college degree in administration or secretarial studies
Microsoft Office knowledge (intermediate level)
Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada
Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old
3-5 years of experience in similar or administrative support role
Experience working standards in a union environment
Bilingual (French and English)
Experience working in Human Resources
