Cargill Strategic Sourcing & Procurement is seeking a Supplier Enablement Lead who will be responsible for management of the Supplier Enablement team.
This position will develop and lead a team that will execute Supplier Enablement processes and strategy.
This position will receive work direction from the DATS manager.
This position will work to develop the standard operating procedures and metrics that will be used to manage the end to end source to pay process, using SAP Ariba.
This role will be critical in Cargill’s adoption of Ariba, timely and appropriate communication with key stakeholders will be necessary.
In addition to SAP Ariba, this role will be responsible for helping to maintain the team’s externally facing website, Supplier Central.
This position will lead a small group of analysts in Bangalore, India and in the Midwest.
Responsible for supervision, performance management, career development and salary administration of team members and report it to the Team Lead.
Determines appropriate staffing levels and conducts interview and hiring process.
Acts as a resource for direction, training, coaching, mentorship and guidance for team members.
Communicates DATS team and CSSP goals and issues, coordinates activities between teams, participates in meetings and activities of the team, performs report analysis, ensures execution and adherence of Supplier Enablement compliance, Value Preservation minimums, and ensures business continuation plans are updated
Decision Making/Problem Solving/Team Relations:
Will coordinate with the NA Maestro team and Implement & execute the strategies, new policies and procedures, provide guidance and support to team members.
Additional responsibilities includes process changes and overall team communications. Continuously drive process improvement ideas.
Resource for Management and Leadership teams and SE team members in troubleshooting, researching alternative solutions and conflict resolutions. 30%
Liaison / Communicator:
Acts as a liaison and facilitates communication between CSSP COE teams/functions, Category Leads and Managers, Business Units staff/leaders, Suppliers, and Continuous improvement team.
Ensure Supplier Enablement process is completed according to Service Level Agreements. 20%
Follow up with team to ensure completion of daily work.
Follow up on supplier or BU questions or issues. Provide training, tips or general information to BU, Functions, and suppliers. 15%
Responsible for the completion of all CSSP COE initiative projects assigned to the team. Accomplishes results as supervisor through team members.
Ensure development of new processes or enhancements will add value to Supplier Enablement and CSSP teams and customers through cost reduction or greater functionality/efficiency. 10%
5 years or relevant experience in procurement, SAP domain related field
SAP MM Experience
Functional expertise in Procure to pay
Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with global audiences
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects effectively
MS Office proficiency
Good understanding on SAP System behaviour
Highly motivated, self-directed and action oriented
Experience in Project activities
Experience in Ariba Supplier Network
Experience in best practice PRTP Tools
