Principal Accountabilities

Functional Service Management

  • Managing requests/incidents submitted via Remedy tool.

  • Support during new deployments of the PPM tool to setup users and projects.

  • Support in decision making during an issue or new deployments.

  • Analyze application problems, discuss and confirm with stakeholders. Evaluate solution and alternative solutions.

  • Plan solution, establish specifications and coordinate execution with development teams.

  • Validates results by testing – coordinate with customers for UAT.

  • Ensures smooth transition by planning downtime, coordinated release, customer training and communication; provide support.

  • Organize, document and communicate all required information.

  • Up skill as required on the job, read professional publications; maintaining personal networks;

  • Support audits and compliance change activities and drive get to green plans

Consulting & Partnering

  • Communicating with business users across the globe, meeting with stake holders and understanding user/stake holder requirements.

  • Develop and maintain long term business domain knowledge in PPM

  • Prepare status and deliverables with focus on quality to function and key audiences via consulting approach and provide solutions via customization or user training

  • Partner across global virtual teams across Functional Analysts, Business Analysts, Value Enablers, Technical teams, other Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure alignment with projects, programs and strategies, and standards. Both in Portfolio, Other Portfolios and Regions. Work closely with various PMO teams, Finance team as well as the EPMO team.

Other Project Delivery Responsibilities

  • Manage knowledge to portfolio SharePoint to ensure integrity of design, changes and training deliverables across stakeholders

  • Manage the team in the absence of lead.


Education, Experience, Skills

Required Qualifications

  • 8 years of experience ein the industry and 6-7 years of experience in PPM Tools like Clarity , Microsoft Project, Clarizen

  • ITIL , Remedy experience

  • Fundamental Knowledge in SQL ( Oracle / MSSQL) and Scripting

  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication

  • Experience with office products (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

  • Basic programming knowledge in Java, HTML

  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous situations

  • Demonstrated experience managing cost/quality/schedule controls

  • Experience interacting effectively, confidentially and appropriately with various levels management and customers

  • Analytical and investigation skills

  • Working knowledge of data and process modelling

  • Strong data analysis, visualization and communication Skills

  • Understand database concepts like DBMS, ETL and SQL

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understand the varied components of the applications to a high degree.

  • Prior working knowledge of above given functional area.
