Position Purpose & Summary

This position is responsible for achiving the territory sales target by dealing with distributors and retailers. Increase the business volume by introducing new stake holders, sheduling appointments and meeting with new customers for promoting new products and explaining lucrative schemes. This position advises customers about delivery shedules, after sales service, arranging sales, contract and payments. This position is also responsible for recording orders and sending details about competitor informations.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for primary and secondary sales for moderate size client

  • Primary Sales

-Handling sales target from Cargill to retailers account

-Coordinate with retailers for raising purchase order

-Provide available offers to boost sales from retailers side

-Assist in promotions: combo offers, promos

-Follow-up with retailers for on time payment to meet deadline

  • Secondary Sales

-Handling sales target from retailers account to direct customers

-Assist in promotions: price checking, combo offers, promos

-Follow FIFO(First in first out) to maintain hygiene and freshness of stock

  • Channel development – Regularly visit retailers and clients to get bulk orders

  • Analyze business potential by forecasting sales based on past 6 months records

  • Assist manager for executing BTL activities

  • Sales Forecasting based on last 3 month average sales

  • Handling secondary sales force to drive secondary sales in multiple business outlet

  • Build strong relationship with customers

  • Continuous followup with supply chain team to ensure optimal stock and to supply the exact quantity as ordered by the stakeholders to achieve 100% fill rate

  • Negotiate with store manager to get the best place to merchandise the product to accelerate business

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:-

  • Graduate in any discipline

  • 2 -3 Years Minimum experience in Modern Trade

  • Good communication skills, basic knowledge of excel.

  • Good negotiation and followup skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in staples will be an added advantage

  • Chain handling experience in retail market will be an additional benefit
