Job Purpose and Impact

The Replenishment Analyst will maintain product availability at the distribution centers and stores to maximize sales opportunities for the customer. In this role, you will ensure forecast accuracy versus sales to drive correct order quantities and analyze business metrics to identify root cause issues and solutions to improve performance. You will serve as the primary point of contact for the customer's replenishment team and facilitate communication between the customer and the organization.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage inventory, review customer orders and prepare reports to make recommendations to improve and maintain key performance indicators.

  • Drive improved order forecast accuracy and case fill through analysis of retailer data such as point of sale consumption and inventory versus customer forecast.

  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships across the customer's supply chain, as well as with sales, demand planning, supply planning and customer supply chain teams.

  • Strategize on replenishment through current and historical trend analysis to maximize sales, inventory turns and gross margin.

  • Work with the team to resolve product shortages and procedural issues and communicate with key stakeholders about decisions and information related to product disruptions in the supply chain to prevent out of stocks.

  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Experience with email, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation applications

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with customer databases, order management systems and retail point of sale systems

  • Experience preparing ad hoc reports regarding sales, inventory and forecasting

  • Experience with key performance indicators like instock, fill rate, on time in full and order accuracy
