Job Purpose and Impact
The Cocoa Junior Trader will help generate income and control risks for the Cocoa & Chocolate trading desk based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Key Accountabilities
Help monitor the trading strategies and books for the Cocoa & Chocolate desk based on hedged positions. Qualified candidates may execute certain trades under supervision from senior team members.
Assist the team to reconcile positions, routine or repetitive profit and loss estimates and other reports as needed on a daily basis.
Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends.
Help implement sales strategies and preparation for customer presentations, as needed.
Handle basic issues and problems under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Ideally 1-2 years of related working experience
Passion in trading and willing to work late shift due to trading hours (up to 1am daily)
