Cargill Vendor Governance Specialist in Bengaluru, India
Job Purpose and Impact
We seek Vendor Governance Specialist will be responsible for the governance and management of the Vendor services, contractual obligations, governance processes, contract renewals, services/ process optimization, etc. In this role, you will work with various leaders at Cargill and its supplier organizations on enhancing overall Vendor relationship, keeping track of vendor performance and spend, and maturing the vendor governance capability for Digital Technology and Data.
Key Accountabilities
Establish supplier governance framework in partnership with all internal and external stakeholders
Manage governance framework that monitors vendors per by onboarding them to the governance platform, bringing end-end visibility and focus on optimizing the relationship
Hold self accountable to maintain and sustain steady state ongoing governance activities
Document and track performance and service level guarantees, SOWs, and other contractual agreements and ensure stakeholder understanding and compliance
Partner with delivery and sourcing teams to define Service Level metrics and other measures and establish processes to capture them on a regular basis
Contribute to contract negotiations and RFP processes as needed
Ideate and propose solutions for automation and tools to drive efficiency
Ensure contract value preservations by monitoring the commitments, hard and soft value as agreed in the contracts and ensure there are no value leakages in the processes
Measure and monitor various types of risks and ensure compliance of security deliverables
Build and execute an effective communications framework with all stakeholders
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
Understanding IT contracts , SOWs & Service Level governance
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to partner with global functions / stakeholders and appreciate cultural differences
Be self-driven, independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate colleagues
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION
6+ years of Experience in handling and managing IT Vendor management
Strong knowledge and exposure to ITIL services
Minimum 4 years of working experience with ITSM processes
Ability to learn on the fly, manage through systems and complex processes, and have sufficient overall intellectual horsepower to address the demands of the team and environment.
Intermediate Certification in ITIL processes
